It started out around 9:30 AM for most of us.

First Day: Brunch at Rudy's at 10:30. After a bit of a late start it was an uneventful trip to our hotel off Hwy 10 and just West of our next morning meeting spot.

Second day: Early breakfast at 7:30. We arrived at the wayside and signed in right on schedule. Around 10:30 the first group of bikes left and we were next. It was great weather on the way to San Antonio, but got hit with just a light sprinkle as we entered base.

The food and music were waiting for us and because we were the second group in we didn't have to wait long for anything. We met with some of the wounded vets and wished them well. We took a few photo's and were back on the road at 2:00 PM sharp. If it wasn't for a semi truck/trailer that almost took two of our group out exiting at Hwy 410 the day went without incident.

Praise the Lord for a worthwhile and safe trip.
