Rolling Thunder Joins Houston
Veterans Holiday Celebration

On Thursday, December 20th, Rolling Thunder, Texas Chapter 1, participated in a Holiday Celebration hosted by U.S.VETS – Houston. More than 125 veterans of all wars attended with Rolling Thunder providing gifts to all the veterans in appreciation for their service and the sacrifices they have made. Volunteers from U.S.VETS, the University of Houston and local community members helped with the party. The opening ceremony included a prayer for those serving today, remembrance of those fallen heroes of all past wars, and those still missing and unaccounted for POW-MIA’s. The event brought plenty of food, entertainment and holiday joy to the very appreciative veterans.
